Overview
Agriculture is the major source of agro-economic and livelihood for the majority of Somali people. Since Somalia requires good agricultural policy to promote technology transfer and improve local agricultural productivity, the Agriculture faculty is committed to academic excellence, provides students with practical trainings, and strengthens their research efforts through experimental farms. The faculty offers a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Hons) — a four year degree in which students study fifty seven courses.
