For All Applicants
General Requirements
- Somali Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) or recognised equivalent
- Minimum overall passing grade of 50% or higher in final examinations
- Valid national identity card or passport
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Application fee payment receipt (paid at the Admissions Office or via bank transfer)
- Original and photocopy of all academic certificates and transcripts
By Faculty
Faculty-Specific Requirements
Faculty of Medicine & Surgery
Min. Grade: 65%Duration: 6 yearsIntake: September annually
Required Subjects
- Biology (required — must have passed)
- Chemistry (required — must have passed)
- Physics or Mathematics (at least one)
Additional Notes
- Applicants must pass a written entrance examination in Biology and Chemistry
- An interview with the Faculty Admissions Committee is mandatory
- Students with lower grades may be considered for a foundation year
