Built to Serve Somalia
Salaam University (SU) is one of the most popular Private University which is non-profit academic institution in Somalia. It is situated on the center of the city Mogadishu, Hodan District with three campuses and founded in 2009 as a school of Medicine and Economic Management Sciences to help training local doctors, health workers, businessmen and administrators.
Later on, SU expanded constantly to strive and create friendly learning environment with plenty of facilities including: Technologically equipped classrooms, high-tech computer laboratories with internet access, well-stocked library and modern medical labs. The culture and experience of SU is teamwork and collaboration that played an important role in its professional and academic development.

Salaam University (SU) is governed by Board of Trustees and University Senate under the recognition of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Culture.
Our Three Campuses
Salaam University operates three campuses in the Hodan District of Mogadishu — the Main Campus housing our founding faculties, the KPP Campus serving our science and technology programs, and the Administrative Campus coordinating all university operations.
Main Campus
The founding campus of Salaam University, home to the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
