Exam Policy

Salaam University conducts four types of examinations:

Final Exam: An exam conducted at the end of the academic semester. This type of exam is offered at a specific time and place for students who registered into the course.

Mid-Term Exam: An exam conducted mid-semester at a specific time and place and is added to the final.

Re-Exam: An exam for students who failed both midterm and final. Students doing this exam will be charged. The result should be less than 20% of the sum of the Midterm and Final exams.

Special Exam: An exam for students who have legitimate reasons for missing both midterm and final. The student must provide leave documents explaining why they missed the exams. Students will be charged for this exam.

• Mid-term Exam: months of November and April.
• Final Exam: months of January and June.

Salaam University offers one week before the final exam begins, dedicated to reviewing lessons and preparing for final exams.

1. 1Pay all fees and financial obligations before sitting in the exam.
2. 2Each student must carry a valid ID card and show it upon entering the exam center.
3. 3Students are responsible for arriving on time.
4. 4The exam room opens at least 15 minutes before the start to allow check-in procedures.
5. 5All students must sign the exam attendance sheet within the first 30 minutes.
6. 6Students must provide their own pens, pencils, and stationery.
7. 7No student may enter the examination hall later than 30 minutes after commencement.
8. 8No student may leave during the first half of the examination.
9. 9Students will be given a minimum of 2-3 hours to answer exam questions.
10. 10All electronic devices including cell phones must be turned off and placed on the table.
11. 11Hats, caps, and earphones are prohibited.
12. 12Food is prohibited. Only beverages are permitted.
13. 13Smoking is prohibited in the exam room.
