Salaam University Public Health Students Visit Al Naciim Water Factory for Field Training

Semester 7 students from the Faculty of Public Health at Salaam University, as part of their field training, conducted an educational visit to Al Naciim Water Factory to strengthen their classroom knowledge through practical experience in water purification and quality control.

During the visit, students gained practical insights into the various stages of water treatment and preparation, including sedimentation, filtration, activated carbon treatment, reverse osmosis (RO), UV disinfection, water storage, water quality testing, quality assurance, packaging, and distribution.

The visit provided students with valuable knowledge and practical exposure to water safety, drinking water quality, and the importance of ensuring access to safe drinking water in preventing waterborne diseases and protecting public health.
